Online Sessions for children
-
You will need access to a printer to be able to print any resources that we might send. These will be sent out with at least 24 hours’ notice before the session.
-
Children should ensure they are ready for Google Meet sessions at least 5 minutes prior to the start, so that we can start promptly.
-
Parents/Carers are responsible for ensuring children have access to a device with a suitable internet connection to enable them to fully participate in the session and for making sure the sessions are attended at the specified time.

Parents/Carers are not permitted to attend any of the online group sessions.
-
In online group courses Google Meet should be set up so that only the child’s first name is visible to others
-
Children have the right not to use video during the Google Meet sessions, however we do prefer the use of video as this enhances the experience.
-
All children participating in online Google Meet sessions need to be dressed appropriately e.g. no pyjamas etc. unless in case of extreme illness and agreed beforehand.
-
For children aged 12 or over a parent needs to introduce themselves with their child at the start of each session. The parent/carer can then leave the room but the door must be left left wide open and the parent/carer needs to be present in the home.
-
For children aged 11 or under the parent/carer needs to be present in the room for the whole of the individual session and nearby for group sessions.
-
It is highly preferable for sessions to take place in a communal room for example kitchen, living room, hall, conservatory, etc.
-
Wellbeing for Kids UK will end the Google Meet session and there will be no refunds if the above points regarding children wearing appropriate dress and adult supervision are not respected.
